If you haven't seen this through your own browsing, it's a joy to behold: Longfellow crosses the finish line to win the Annual Savannah Wiener Dawg Races on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, in Savannah, Georgia. Longfellow lost his back left leg after being hit by a car a couple of years ago. A quick Google search on three-legged dogs shows their adaptability in maintaining a happy lifestyle sans a paw. Competing against 175 four-legged dachshunds, he's an inspiration to all of us in the two-legged variety of dog.Happy Thursday.
